Back to Spin Classes

Writer's picture: Robin RudwickRobin Rudwick

I've just started back at spinning classes. I've completed two and they were hard. They last for 45 minutes and are intense. At the end of the class, I am completely wrung out. It feels similar to having walked 25 kilometres on the Camino. But you get the tiredness after 45 minutes. It's more like doing hill sprint intervals than the long, slow distance runs.

I'm not sure which I prefer to do. The spin classes are time efficient and I doubt I could cycle like that on the road. And I like the buzz of completing a tough class.

But there is something about the slow and steady walking, that I miss as well.

Practical Things I learned on the Camino

This journey is a marathon and not a sprint. Rest days are important! It's a Pilgrimage, not a route march. Take care of blisters as soon...
