Zombie Blog Resurrection

It's been a long time since I wrote anything on this blog.

When we finished the Camino in 2022, going back to a 'normal life' made the blog feel a bit redundant.

Since then I quit my job, moved house twice and ended up in Lewes, East Sussex, just north of Brighton. We also now have 3 grand children. We spent 3 weeks in New Zealand, visiting our son Chris and exploring the country.

When we got back we spent a long time getting our house in Lewes renovated and the back garden landscaped.

In fact, it's been quite a busy few years.

Currently we are in Porto, Portugal, aiming to walk the Camino Portuguese.

The plan is to be a bit more relaxed about it. Last time, we were time constrained and maybe worried about getting accommodation. This meant we booked ahead and maybe pushed ourselves too hard.

We are now a few years older, with a few more aches and pains. But hey, it's only 250ish km to Santiago.
