We were up by 0615 and sorting out our stuff. Early morning showers - luxury. Breakfast in a cafe by the river and then across the bridge to the bus station.
There seems to be no integrated timetable for buses. Just photocopied sheets of paper by different companies in no particular order. We met up with Sam and Geoffrey. Sam was a young Tasmanian Wilderness guide doing the Camino with his dad, who possibly had Parkinson's. We managed to sort out the bus, mask wearing obligatory here. The cost was €2.40 for 2 people for a 20 minute journey to Santo Domingo.
Santo Domingo is a well sign posted town with a lot of historical buildings. We wandered around town trying to find an open cafe for a breakfast of coffee and chorizo omelette bocadillo.

Our Albergue.
