Day 21 - Mancilla

Writer's picture: Robin RudwickRobin Rudwick

Our hotel room was nice but no air conn. After a quick shower, it was out into the town. It's hard to say whether times are hard or they are waiting for more Pilgrims so they can open up more bars and restaurants. But it was 30-32°C as we walked around town trying various ATMs. Some allow you to choose the note denomination. Otherwise they offload all their €50 on you. Not a lot of use when you're often spending less than €5.

We tried a few bars, looking for food. There was a good restaurant but we were between sittings. Ruth was feeling unwell, probably lack of water during the day, so it was back to the room for a self made sandwich, then bed.
