Flight to Biarritz

Friday 20th May 2022

I'm sitting on the plane with Ruth on the way to Biarritz. We've travelled Wokingham to Reading, then Paddington by train. Then it was the Circle Line to Liverpool Street, followed by a train to Stansted. The trains were all relatively quiet.

Stansted it self was busier than I expected and our plane was half an hour late. We managed to get our backpacks wrapped up in clingfilm. They ended up looking like giant silk worm pupae.

The flight itself is packed. There are at least 2 stag parties on the plane. Fortunately, they are noisy but not rolling drunk.
